Biography

Heidi Morein earned her Masters and Masters of Fine Arts (Arts Doctorate equivalent) from Temple University in 1986 and 1993, and has taught as adjunct faculty. In May 2018, Ms. Morein completed her Masters in Education at Arcadia University. She is the founder and curriculum developer for White Pines Productions’ Anime Club Camp and Afterschool programming, showcased by National Public Radio affiliate WHYY FM (Newsworks.org August 2015). She has and will present papers relating animation and autism at NEMLA 2018 and NEMLA 2019. She serves on the Boards of Potential’s Development Committee, and the Philadelphia Center for Autistic Advancement.
